Expected NEET 2027 Exam Date: What the Pattern Says
NEET UG has been held on the first Sunday of May for three years in a row. The 2026 exam was also held on that day, although it was later cancelled and conducted again in June.

The first Sunday of May 2027 falls on 2 May. If NTA moves the exam by a week, the next candidate is 9 May 2027.
NTA’s exam calendar released in September 2026 did not include NEET UG, and the agency has said the date will be announced separately. So treat 2 May as a planning date, not a confirmed one. If you are repeating the exam, plan your year around this date with our 12-month dropper plan.
Will CBT Change the NEET 2027 Exam Date?
It could. Here is where things stand:
- May 2026: after the paper leak and cancellation, NTA told the Supreme Court that NEET would move to computer-based mode from the next cycle, in consultation with the Health Ministry.
- September 2026: the Centre told the Court that the shift is still “under active consideration”, and that a final call will follow the recommendations of an expert task force.
- October 2026: media reports say NTA’s readiness for a CBT exam is being reviewed, with plans built around roughly 5 lakh candidates a day. With more than 20 lakh applicants, that would mean an exam spread over five to six days and several shifts.

NEET 2027 Admit Card Date: What to Expect
In recent years, NTA has released the admit card only three to four days before the exam. The city intimation slip, which tells you your exam city, comes about 10 days before. So the NEET 2027 admit card date should fall in the last days of April 2027 if the exam is on 2 May.
Check these details as soon as you download it from neet.nta.nic.in:
- Name spelling (it should match your Class 10 certificate)
- Date of birth, category and gender
- Exam city, centre name and address
- Photograph and signature clarity
- Question paper medium
- Reporting time and gate closing time

The exam date may move, but the questions NTA likes to ask do not change much. Previous year questions are the most reliable preparation whatever the final schedule is. Start with the heaviest chapters:

NEET 2027 Result Date: When Will Scores Be Out?
Results have come about four to six weeks after the exam: 4 June in 2024 and 14 June in 2025. On that basis, the NEET 2027 result date should fall in mid-June 2027. If the exam is held in CBT mode over several days, scores are likely to be normalised across shifts, which can add a little time.

- Percentile score
- All India Rank and category rank
- Qualifying status and cutoff

How to Use the NTA NEET 2027 Timetable in Your Preparation
A date is useful only when you plan backwards from it. Taking 2 May 2027 as the target, about 200 days remain as of early October 2026. Here is how to split them:

- Keep your documents ready: Class 10 and 12 marksheets, a recent photograph, signature, ID proof and category certificate in the current format.
