Example: flower colour in snapdragon (<em>Antirrhinum<\/em>), where red \u00d7 white gives pink.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Codominance:<\/strong> both alleles express fully. Example: the AB blood group, where I\u1d2c and I\u1d2e are both expressed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multiple alleles:<\/strong> the ABO system has three alleles (I\u1d2c, I\u1d2e, i), giving six genotypes and four phenotypes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pleiotropy:<\/strong> one gene, many effects. A colour-blind man marries a woman with normal vision who is not a carrier. What will their children be?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Answer: All sons normal, all daughters carriers.<\/strong> Sons get the mother&#8217;s normal X; daughters get the father&#8217;s affected X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Q3. Parents have blood groups A and B, both heterozygous.
